You will be based on site at our North Valley Reno, NV location. The shift will start at 6:00 am and end at 2:30 pm. This role supports the production line and will follow production's needs.

Summary:

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for repairing and maintaining assets; with the purpose of improving reliability and life cycle costs. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work diligently, show strong technical and communication skills.

Your main tasks:

  • Ensure immediate maintenance intervention to solve any maintenance issues in the relevant field and follow up actions necessary.
  • Thorough execution of all planned maintenance activities assigned. (PM's)
  • Support all Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS) plans and activities affecting the relevant maintenance area.
  • Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with operations, planners and engineering to maximize efficient productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and standards and maintain good housekeeping.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience troubleshooting/repairing industrial equipment.
  • Minimum 6 months experience using metal fabricating equipment such as welding machines, torches and grinders to return equipment to service or to modify existing equipment.
  • Basic experience installing/repairing hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Employee should demonstrate creativity, be energetic and present a positive company image.
  • Ability to effectively use electrical instruments such as volt/ohm meter.
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic circuits and equipment, hydraulic circuits, pumps and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of AC/DC electrical control circuits.
  • Ability to read and understand ladder logic or be willing to attend associated training opportunities for any of the above tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School or technical Diploma required
  • 5 plus years' experience in the distribution or manufacturing field
  • Proficient in Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • OSHA and NEC basic knowledge
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
  • Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
  • Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
  • Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
