Job Description

Join us as an Audit Lead Consultant and help shape the future through smarter risk management.

The Audit Lead Consultant is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on multifaceted, complex audit projects. Audit specialists must provide the appropriate level of project planning, delegation of work, supervision and review of staff work to ensure the project follows the audit process and that professional standards are met. Audit specialists continue to build an understanding of the various areas of the organization and further develop proficiency in moderately complex data analytics and IT general controls testing through operational audits. Key Responsibilities:

* Leading complex audits with independence and objectivity

* Actively engage clients and effectively communicate the context and need for a strong and cost-effective internal control environment and risk management practices

* Assuming a leadership role on department process improvement initiatives and/or a center of functional expertise

* Coordinating and directing the work of other project members on leadership assignments.

* Integrates deep subject matter expertise into the audit execution process

* Taking personal accountability to ensure that audits are performed with proficiency and due professional care

* Travel requirements are minimal (15%)

* Contribute to improving the Team or Audit Department effectiveness through implementation of key Internal Audit priorities

* Support timely and effective remediation of control issues

* Assist in the development and maintenance of a risk-based audit plan for the Allstate enterprise, focusing on the BU's and AOR's that they are assigned

Education:

* 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

* 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu):

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

* Core certifications (CPA, CA, CISA, CIA, or CFE) are required for all new Lead Consultant and above roles, and must be obtained within 18 months if not already held.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $76,200.00 - 134,550.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
