Job Description Director, Thought Leader Liaison, US Kidney - Pove Vertex is seeking a talented leader to join our US Kidney Business Unit to support our aspirations of bringing povetacicept and inaxaplin, two Phase 3 investigational therapies that have the potential to transform multiple serious diseases, to patients. The Director, Thought Leader Liaison, US Kidney leads thought leader engagement for both povetacicept and inaxaplin within the US Kidney Business Unit to support our launches in IgA nephropathy (IgAN) and APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD). The Thought Leader Liaison will act as the lead and be responsible for our promotional speakers' bureau, commercial advisory boards, and branded patient ambassador programs. We are seeking a candidate that has a strong track record in US commercial roles and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. Onboarding Global Rotational Program The successful candidate will participate in a unique and sought-after opportunity as part of the onboarding and integration process to join the Vertex Commercial organization in a special assignment. Prior to officially starting the Director, Thought Leadership, Kidney in November 2025, the successful candidate will complete a rotation supporting the Global Commercial Strategy team for our Hemoglobinopathies disease area as a short-term assignment (from start date to Nov, 2025). This opportunity provides an immersive experience for someone to receive on the job training and opportunity to experience global strategy responsibilities across two different disease areas. This will benefit the incumbent through early exposure to company processes, an expanded network across the global team, and insights/learnings to apply to the destination role of Director, Thought Leader Liaison within the US Kidney team. #LI-KW1 Pay Range: $195,200 - $292,800Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
