System Administrator IV - Clearance Required

Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer.

This role will support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Candidates should possess strong systems administration and information technology fundamentals.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services
• Train staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitor system configuration (hardware and software), and provide instruction on computers and applications

Here's what you need:

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting complex IT systems

Bonus points if you have:

• 10+ years of experience related to the position description
• Master's degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

Security Clearance:

• DOD SECRET

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in any field. Master's degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred.

Work Schedule:

• M-F, Onsite

Compensation and Benefits:

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $155,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
