Prepare all of our imaged products for shipment, in a manner that will insure the integrity and quality of the imaged product. II. DUTIES To process jobs per written and, or verbal instructions from the departmental supervisor or CSR. To be familiar with the terms, tools, procedures, and work instructions required to handle and prepare imaged material. To understand, be familiar with, and be capable of utilizing, the documented customer specifications. To update and maintain the database schedule, with the most current status of all jobs in our dept. Act as a backup to shipping when required To accurately use the Bemis Image Carrier Order system to record all critical production information. Assists in the training of new employees To communicate with printing plants the timing of plates when needed Any other duties assigned as temporary or routine related to their job description The following items are production job duties that will be preformed during a shift:

III. KNOWLEDGE Required: Must have a desire to learn and willingness to utilize new technologies in a production environment. Having previous experience in a pre-press environment will help, but not necessary. Sources: A high school diploma or graphic arts trade school training. IV. APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE Most daily problems are resolved through the application of knowledge acquired through past experience. Solving problems will sometimes involve the inclusion of internal technical resources. Knowing the needs of internal and external customers is vital. Takes ownership of projects and of process improvement as it relates to the department. Demonstrate willingness to assist in the training and development of others. V. SUPERVISION 1. Observations, affecting current procedures that would improve production should be shared with the department supervisor. This not only includes productions issues, but also any safety issues. VI. RESPONSIBILITY To maintain an orderly and safe working environment: Each employee must conduct themselves in a professional manner and adhere to department procedures in order to maintain a safe working environment for everyone. It is the responsibility of each employee to complete all tasks and duties during their shift. The Imaging Department works in a team atmosphere, where everyone shares in the responsibility for the production and quality of our work. It is the responsibility of each employee to work as part of this team. For Records and Reports: Responsible for the recording of all data pertaining to individual job reporting, quality check sheets / measurements, and schedules. For Methods & Procedures: To work within the current procedures and offer positive suggestions when change is needed. To actively seek out new methods and ideas to enhance the department. VII. WORKING CONDITIONS: 99% of working hours are spent in an operating plant, with occasional travel requirements. Safety hazards are minimal.
