This is a full-time internship starting in June 2025 and ending August 22, 2025

POSITION SUMMARY:

Dominium is looking for a Capital Markets Intern to join our team in Dallas, TX. Interns in the Capital Markets group have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of capital markets and real estate transactions including both debt and equity transactions, securitizations, structured finance deals, and other unique ventures. Interns are involved with the development of the business and regularly contribute to internal/external meetings, negotiations, financial modeling, and strategic initiatives. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Interns are expected to assume an integral role in the business and can expect to be staffed on several deals at one time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Live deal experience
  • Financial modeling
  • Debt and equity placement & execution
  • Negotiations of limited partnership agreements and loan documents
  • Investment committee presentation preparation and support
  • CMBS securitizations and other structured finance transactions
  • Participate in comprehensive training in real estate fundamentals, financial principals, and excel.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Students or recent graduates from an accredited college or university (Undergraduate or Masters)
  • Real Estate/Finance/Economics or other quantitative-based degrees preferred.
  • Previous real estate or finance experience preferred but not required.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work additional extended hours as needed, beyond the required 40 hours.
  • Ability to work independently in a professional and flexible manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
  • Be a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Perseverance and stamina.
  • Contribute to a positive culture.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
