TITLE: BSW Platform Manager

DUTIES: Lead the digital transformation to this new world of automotive technology with a focus on the customer experience. Act as a member of the software performance architecture team in the software (SWX) organization. Responsible for performance evaluation of the embedded software running on the target platform for various domains like SAE Level 2, 3 automated driving features, Infotainment, IVI, instrument clusters, etc. Manage the team performing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) extraction from hardware target platforms, running the applications, suggesting performance improvement software changes, and establishing the budgetary glide path. Utilize understanding of modern vehicle architectures and knowledge of embedded software development to contribute to the state-of-the-art and emerging computational technologies. Support classical AUTOSAR activities at different phases of vehicle development such as development, pre-production, and production. Lead team with technology in the areas of base software development for the embedded target platforms. Manage a team of engineers building the platform support plans, tracking team progress, performing project risk identification, and implementing mitigation plans to ensure the expected deliverable timelines are met. Mentor teams in vehicle architectures, front-end, and back-end communication routines to support the platform. Work closely with cross-functional teams including vehicle systems architecture, CI/CD, and IT to establish the process for software implementation. Guide team with implementation of standard automotive diagnostic protocols such as Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) over CAN and DOIP (Ethernet) and diagnostics as a service. Help teams with automotive vehicle communication architectures and service-oriented architecture. Work on Base Software development areas MCAL, Bootloader, Middleware (AUTOSAR), Operating systems (Preemptive /RTOS OS and POSIX OS.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field of study and 10 years of experience in job offered or a related position in BSW. Experience must include: 5 years experience in embedded software development using C/C++/Java, and/or other high-level programming languages; working with classic AUTOSAR middleware, building classic platform with OS, BSP and middleware integration. knowledge on bootloaders, embedded OS, OSEK, RTOS and BSP development; knowledge of

bootloaders, embedded OS, OSEK, RTOS and BSP development; experience in rapid prototyping, board bring-up and debugging & troubleshooting embedded system software and hardware using tools, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers; experience working with AUTOSAR BSW modules stacks - Com stack, Memory Stack; experience with CPU core load distribution, IOs (PCIe), time synchronization, clocking, timing analysis tools (like GLIWA); experience working in multi-threaded / multi-core programming environments, software applications, and device layering programs.
