Hanger, Inc. is looking to add a Senior Accountant to our dynamic Fixed Assets team at the HRC Austin, TX location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Fixed Assets accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record. This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple tasks concurrently.

In this role, you will work with corporate and field teams, gathering necessary information to ensure accurate and quality work is consistently completed in the Fixed Assets area.



Your Impact

    Ensure the Oracle Fixed Subledger and corresponding general ledger accounts are properly calculated, supported, reconciled, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing responsibilities, including preparation and review of journal entries related. Ensuring fixed assets tasks are completed timely and accurately.
  • Perform external and internal audit activities relating to fixed assets to ensure timely and accurate responses to audits requests.
  • Perform, Review, and enhance analysis and analytical processes and controls.
  • Ensure effective working relationships with key business partners.
  • Conduct financial analysis of key accounts to support business initiatives and provide insights to management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 3- 5 years of accounting experience
  • Experience working with other corporate level functions in a large multi-location publicly traded company.
  • Experience in working in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced level experience using Excel, working with large amounts of data, complex tables, and data lookups.
