Description

The Hydraulic Hose Specialist is responsible for identifying and constructing hydraulic hoses of varying makes and models. The specialist must also obtain and retain CAT Hydraulic Hose Construction certification to best serve our internal and external customer base. Extensive on the job training and e-learning must be successfully completed as required. The Hydraulic Hose Specialist will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner, and the ability to maintain inventory integrity.




  • Identify Hoses and components of varying makes and models as brought in by customers.

    • Disassemble and reassemble reusable hoses accurately.
    • Construct new hoses from a build sheet.


  • Read hose schematics.
  • Maintain >95% inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure customer solutions are stocked.
  • Maintain high output with limited supervision.
  • Operate a lift truck in a safe manner.
  • Respond appropriately to customer demands.
  • Mentor employees and customers in hydraulic hose construction.
  • Work in a high production environment.
  • Other duties assigned by Management as needed

Qualifications
Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
A minimum of 1 year working in a hydraulic hose shop. Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required. (required)
