Supply Chain Manager, Aerospace

PPG Aerospace is looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at our Sylmar, CA. manufacturing facility. This role is critical in supporting production, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance . The ideal candidate brings leadership and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure accuracy, and alignment across procurement, planning, and inventory functions. This is an onsite position and you will report to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a team of supply chain professionals consisting of material planners, schedulers, analysts and physical inventory managers.

• Create policies, procedures and systems required to meet business objectives to ensure continuous improvement in all material management and supply chain areas.

• Coordinate planning and scheduling with production teams, aligning material requirements, production capacity, and customer delivery timelines to ensure workflow.

• Forecast and manage inventory across logistics, receiving, and inspection, maintaining accurate stock levels and minimizing obsolescence, while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and ITAR.

• Responsible for physical inventory management including cycle counting an overall inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP and FG categories.

• Manage and drive local site SOP processes.
