Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin. BETTER TOGETHER GHC-SCW is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accounting Analyst to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting accounting operations, budgeting, financial analysis, and department budget variance reviews. You will help develop the annual operating and capital budgets, coordinate internal and external financial reports, and contribute to quarterly and annual financial statements. Additional responsibilities include developing financial models for premiums and outside medical costs, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, supporting monthly and year-end close processes, assisting with interim and annual financial audits, and providing financial education and guidance to staff across the organization. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, deadline-driven, and capable of working independently under the general direction of the Accounting Manager, with additional reporting to the Director of Finance.
