Compensation Range: $58,000 - $82,000/year Work Address: 18701 E. 38th Ave. Aurora, CO 80011 Tempur Sealy is looking for an experienced and team minded individual to join our Denver team as a Manufacturing Engineer. Lead the Company's Quality Program at the plant level (location) to ensure the product delivered to customers meets Tempur Sealy internal quality standards with regard to standard assembly processes, Mandatory/General assembly specifications, final inspections standard, work-in process standards and raw material standards. Drive accountability through data; establish structure and consistency throughout the organization by developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality and continuous improvement operating system. Transform from traditional quality practices to a proactive integrated quality approach. What you will do: * Perform specialized engineering tasks and functions within a certain engineering area: Operations Excellence, Process, Manufacturing, Controls, Product, or Chemical. * Complete, provide engineering leadership to, and support projects within one of the defined engineering areas. * Ensure that all work, or work performed under your supervision, meets or exceeds the highest professional and company standards. * Continuously look for ways to improve the engineering process to gain efficiencies in cost and production. * Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop and implement engineering best practices at all company locations. * Ensure that all equipment under your supervision is functioning properly and most efficiently. * Manage and lead the implementation of new equipment or procedures. * Assist with regular production process audits (equipment and products) to find production and cost inefficiencies. * Develop and implement solutions for inefficiencies and deficiencies discovered in audits. * Manage and lead regular safety audits to ensure the highest levels of safety are being maintained. * Lead the engineering aspects of new product development and production. * Provide input and feedback to the relevant product development teams about current or potential products. * Facilitate the implementation and introduction of new engineering-related procedures and products. * Provide an example of the highest levels of professionalism to engineers and other company employees. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required. (Master's degree preferred.) * 4 years of related experience or training. * Certification or specialized training in a related engineering area is desirable (Operations Excellence, Process, Manufacturing, Controls, Chemical, or Product). * Up to 25% travel is required.
