Apply Job Overview The Account Executive develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue through cross sell opportunities, and with a focus on client retention. Ensures that organizational services consistently meet client needs. Works independently and is responsible for renewing assigned book of commercial accounts. Typically handles larger book of business and/or more complex accounts. Expected Work Hours 35 Job Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the servicing and marketing of a book of business as assigned by direct manager. Responsible for analysis of policy forms, complex and detailed coverage comparisons, identifying exposures and making appropriate recommendations to clients and assisting clients with understanding of policy coverages. Responsible for renewing all assigned policies to ensure they are issued on a timely basis and in accordance with prescribed workflows. This includes detailed documentation in Epic system. Knowledge and use of platforms such as EPIC, INDIO, CSR24 and Lineslip. Responsible for monitoring management reports in Epic including Expiration Reports and other reports as assigned by Dept Manager. Develops and maintains relationship with assigned commercial clients, including in depth coverage analysis, presentations to clients, analyzing risks and identifying exposures. Direct and frequent involvement and negotiations with insurance company underwriters. Training of other staff members as well as participation in training of new employees. Reliance on extensive experience and judgement to plan and assist in accomplishing department goals as set by department manager and senior management. Requirements Required Skills: Strong insurance technical skills -- must have deep knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, policy forms and insurance industry marketplace. Strong organizational skills to effectively manage book of commercial business. Strong communication skills -- directly works with all VIS Depts, Insurance carrier underwriters and larger clients. Required Experience: High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 8 years relevant agency experience. Insurance broker's license. Bachelor's degree preferred. Additional insurance designations (i.e., CPCU, CIC) also preferred.
