We are looking to hire a key member of our Supply Chain team at our Global Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas or our Polymer Manufacturing site in Belpre, Ohio.

The Senior Manager, Regional Supply Chain will manage the end-to-end supply chain across a specific region, including working capital, logistics, supply planning, regional customer fulfilment & SC execution activities and process improvements to agreed business objectives. Through working with cross functional teams, this role will align demand with supply plans, drive manufacturing execution, and manage distribution of the resulting inventory while minimizing supply chain risks to avoid any potential for supply disruption. This position will build and maintain key collaborative relationships with commercial and manufacturing colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all supply chain activities within the region including strategy development & execution, cost control, safety, and people development to ensure that customer requests are met in a timely manner

Responsible for ensuring that supply chain costs, inventory & delivery performance targets are met

Manage and enhance order-to-cash activities, ensure accurate and timely steps throughout the process, install control and check points.

Management of inventory levels to meet business targets and achieve expected customer product availability.

Manage regional logistic operations activities for in and outbound material flows including warehouse operations and tolling activities

Lead cross functional team members to deliver annual cost reduction targets

Implement production plans all within cost, manufacturing constraints/options, continuity of supply, market requirements and in accordance with regional balances.

Develop regional monomer and raw materials plans considering contractual commitments and communicate procurement needs to support production.

Challenge the existing logistics and supply planning processes in order to implement continuous improvements and deliver tangible benefits.

Apply appropriate software tools (e.g. Picaso, SAP) to assure the best possible level of flexibility around plant scheduling and product importing.

Directs problem solving activities for complex issues involving our most critical supply chain processes and spend categories

Act as key contact internally and externally and be an expert for supply processes within the region and globally.

Work with commercial team to validate sales forecasts and prioritize shipments when appropriate. Drive initiatives for enhancing demand forecasting accuracy

Operate independently within defined authorities.

Provide leadership to effectively drive the organization's development of a high-performance management technique. Ensure professional development, training and succession planning for the organization. Recruit and retain talent within the supply chain team.

Ensure all team activities are executed in full compliance with SOX, ISO, CTPAT and other certifications, requirements and/or programs including supporting renewal of certificates

Display role model behavior for safety and compliance and Diversity & inclusion

Manage fixed cost within budget

Required Skills

More than 10 years of experience in supply chain including production planning.

SAP knowledge an asset.

Demonstrate clear commitment to factors affecting HSE.

In-depth knowledge of supply chain.Chemicals background a plus.

Team player, self-starter, ability to work and build cooperation in a multinational team / matrix organization.

Strong analytical skills, with a working knowledge of basic statistics and Six Sigma methodologies and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Proven ability to work in a high performance environment.

Ability to perform all duties in an accurate, timely and professional manner within the guidelines of established company procedures and policies, while maintaining a flexible approach to enforcing those policies.

Demonstrates flexibility and the willingness to adapt and learn in a multi-systems computerized work environment.

Displays a sense of urgency by reacting promptly to the various deadlines associated with customers' orders so as to meet the Company's commitments to those customers.

Works independently in a proactive manner to resolve issues before they reach crisis proportions.

Ability to effectively interact with all levels of business via phone, written communication and in person.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and SAP ERP system.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics & supply chain operations or relative discipline is preferred
