FTE: 1.0 Shift: Days Schedule: Full Time 8 hr shifts Position Summary The Sonographer is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, performing ultrasound and echocardiography studies. You will work together with the Imaging team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients. Responsibilities You will possess knowledge and skill with all ultrasound machines and carry out all routine/emergency ultrasound and Echocardiography procedures You will demonstrate competency in pre-procedural patient assessment You will explain procedure to the patient to give a feeling of comfort and reassurance Requirements Satisfactory completion of a formal ultrasound technology training program Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovasular Credentialing International If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer or Echocardigrapher preferred Current BLS Certification Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy.
