Our Company/Job Summary

This position reports into the Finance team, which serves to support Ghirardelli's CFO, sustainability reporting and systems, and technology initiatives. This role works cross-functionally on supporting sustainability reporting and all related corporate social responsibility (CSR) submissions. This role serves as a business partner for defining, implementing, and supporting deployment of sustainability reporting processes and tools along with providing insights to functional business managers and leaders across the company. Responsible for documenting the process and ensuring audit standards are maintained.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reporting timelines, deadlines, and coordination of information to key stakeholders.
  • Support and ensure data collection and validation with stakeholders/business owners
  • Build trusted working relationships with business process owners and business partners to drive alignment, increase collaboration and optimization on projects, initiatives, and submissions.
  • Participate in audit process in partnership with the Lindt Internal Control Manager if required and sustainability/year-end review meetings.
  • Partner with Headquarter Corporate Controlling to drive best practice implementation of standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in reporting standards and local legislations, assessing their impact on reporting with keen attention.
  • Attend sustainability trainings and educate/train business owners.
  • Collaborate and share best practices with Finance colleagues across brands.
  • Support Manager of Strategic Initiatives on documentation, finance, and technology projects as needed.

Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Exposure to CPG or mid-to large manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Experience in Accounting/Finance or Consulting with strong sustainability interest and affinity for data collection, analysis, and working within enterprise systems.
  • Exposure to financial systems (ERP) and developing business intelligence reports
  • Demonstrated experience building large excel models and business management tools using MS Office suite or other software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead meetings with cross-functional partners and lead initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, STEM, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
