Medical Technologist

Job Overview: The Medical Technologist (HPC Stem Cell) provides technical expertise, leadership and direction in conjunction with the HPC Lab Medical Director in order to fulfill the goals and objectives of the HPC Laboratory to provide quality cellular therapy services. Effectively communicates information, utilizes resources and manages staff and services. Coordinates operations with other parts of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program and other programs utilizing cellular therapy services. Performs cellular therapy technical work.

Qualifications:

Education:
BA/BS Degree in Medical Technology and/or related science required.

Certifications:
National certification preferable.

Experience:
Clinical laboratory experience in a HPC (Stem Cell) processing laboratory preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• Every other weekend and holiday schedule.
• Position requiring flexible work hours. Occasional evening/night hours.
• Assigned work hours are flexible with a start time between 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM for 8 hour per day, 40 hours per week shift. Primary hours are 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
