The Outpatient Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy services to clients with mental health conditions in a hospital-affiliated outpatient program. The therapist is responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and coordinating care with internal and external providers. The therapist supports a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet the unique needs of each patient. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? no Licenses and Credentials Social Worker, Licensed Clinical [LCSW - State License] preferred Social Worker, Licensed Independent Clinical [LICSW - State License] preferred Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist [State License] preferred Licensed/license-eligible Psychologist- preferred Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including substance use and mental health evaluations. Develop individualized, strength-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients. Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, relapse prevention). Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups for clients and their families. Monitor client progress, revise treatment plans as needed, and complete timely clinical documentation. Coordinate care with internal providers (e.g., psychiatrists, case managers) and external community resources. Participate actively in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, case consultations, and supervision. Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations (including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2). Support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
