Position Summary

The Associate Investigator/Auditor P&CR in a pivotal compliance role at MultiCare, working directly with the Privacy & Civil Rights leadership, department Investigator/Auditors and business unit leadership. In this integral position of MultiCare's Compliance program, you will assure compliance with patient-related federal and state privacy and discrimination and MultiCare's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities


  • You will manage the investigation and remediation of any suspected incidents of discrimination or privacy violations
  • You will participate in OCR and other regulatory audits, meetings and initiatives
  • You will develop and monitor compliance of regulatory deliverables and corrective actions, including reporting, requests and requirements
  • You will audit compliance based on control inventory, law, and best practice


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Compliance, Investigative or Privacy certification such as CHC, CHPS, or comparable designation required or obtained within 12 months of placement in position; a JD or MJ will be accepted in lieu of certification
  • Minimum three (3) years of healthcare experience required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in investigation compliance, human resources, auditing, HIPAA compliance researcher, legal work directly w/state & federal regulatory agencies or certification as an ADA Coordinator

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $66,997.00 - $96,408.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
