Staffmark is
looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Austin, TX. This direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a thriving industry.

Salary: $92,500

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (In-office)

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with teams and suppliers to define electronic system requirements.
  • Design and test digital, analog, and mixed-signal PCBs using Altium Designer.
  • Develop and test firmware for circuit boards in C and C#.
  • Create test procedures for hardware and firmware qualifications.
  • Perform functional testing, diagnose faults, and modify circuit boards.
  • Provide technical support, failure analysis, and assist in project milestones.
  • Guide electronics technicians and contribute to team meetings.
  • Occasional domestic and offshore travel (up to 10%).



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in circuit board design, firmware development, and lab equipment usage.
  • Proficient in C programming and serial/modbus communication protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
  • Experience with Altium, high voltage designs, and robotics.
  • Knowledge of C#, C++, assembly, Arduino, and Microchip/ESP32 microcontrollers.
  • Familiarity with PLM tools like AGILE or Enovia.
