Clinical Integration Financial Analyst

Description

UCLA Health is seeking a Clinical Integration Financial Analyst to
support the administration and oversight of the Health System's financial
commitments and evolving funds flow processes. In this role, you'll evaluate
funding proposals, prepare reports, maintain MOU documentation, and partner
with clinical departments and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy and
accountability.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to
institutional financial strategy, drive process improvements, and support
clinical integration initiatives in a high-impact, cross-functional
environment.

In this role, you will:


  • Track
    institutional commitments, analyze financial data, and prepare materials
    for executive decision-making.
  • Evaluate
    funding requests and support funds flow reporting, compliance tracking,
    and model transition activities.
  • Maintain
    and monitor MOU documentation, ensuring accuracy, appropriate accounting
    treatment, and timely renewals.
  • Support
    annual budget development, monthly close processes, fund transfers, and
    variance analysis of the Health System's financial commitments.
  • Collaborate
    with stakeholders across departments to streamline workflows, improve
    reporting tools, and enhance data integrity.

Salary Range: $76,200 - $158,800 annually

Qualifications

We're seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative finance
professional with:


  • Bachelor's
    degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other job-related field - or a
    valid license (e.g., CPA).
  • Three
    or more years of experience in healthcare finance, budgeting, or
    accounting.
  • Strong
    analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, data analysis,
    and reporting.
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving
    skills.
  • Ability
    to communicate insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Solid
    knowledge of general ledger systems, chart of accounts, payroll data, and
    financial statements.
  • Thorough
    understanding of GAAP and ability to research and apply accounting
    treatments.
  • High-level
    proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented
    with strong organizational and collaborative skills.
  • Experience
    with databases (e.g., Microsoft Access). Preferred
