About the Role

Impact you will make

As a Trainer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Healthcare Denials Team. Your expertise will empower our team to better understand and navigate complex denial scenarios, ultimately improving our reimbursement rates and reducing claim rejections. By providing comprehensive training and developing robust procedures, you will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization.

What you will do



  • Training Delivery: Conduct comprehensive training sessions on medical billing systems, focusing on healthcare denials, for new hires, existing employees, management, and clients
  • Material Development: Create, organize, and update training manuals, guides, and course materials, including handouts and visual aids tailored to healthcare denials
  • Client Collaboration: Interface with clients to understand their needs and develop customized training specifications
  • Process Documentation: Develop, document, and maintain workflow processes and procedures related to healthcare denials
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of training activities with clients, management, and employees to ensure seamless execution
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and program effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed
  • Innovative Solutions: Develop alternative training methods and solutions to enhance program effectiveness and address any shortcomings



What you will bring



  • 5+ years of proven success in healthcare insurance billing, follow-up, reimbursement, and collections, with a focus on denials management, in a hospital or BPO vendor environment
  • 1+ years of experience of healthcare industry training
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of payer rules, denial reasons, and appeals processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with healthcare billing/EHR systems (e.g., EPIC, Paragon, Zirmed) and strong knowledge of medical terminology, including claim types (UB-04), CPT, ICD, DRG codes, and EOB/RA
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex denials and underpayment issues with strong analytical skills
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey training material and interact with clients and team members
  • Flexibility: Hybrid work arrangement, typically 2-3 days per week on-site, depending on training requirements
