CNC Machinist

Staffmark is partnering with a leading innovator in flow measurement solutions to find a skilled CNC Machinist in Cranston, Rhode Island. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its precision-engineered flow meters, serving vital industries such as wastewater treatment, oil and gas, power generation, and automotive.

Position Details

• Pay: $35 - $45 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines, with a strong focus on vertical and horizontal milling. You will perform setups, inspect parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, verniers, and gauges, and ensure all components meet quality standards. This role requires manual G & M code programming-Fanuc control experience is a plus. You'll contribute to process improvement, work independently, and collaborate with your team to maintain production efficiency. Attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to work from start to finish on machining tasks are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience beyond basic operation
• Strong knowledge of setup, programming, and inspection procedures
• Strategic problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Comfortable using workplace computer systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
