Join a dynamic behavioral health team where your clinical skills and compassion truly make a difference. As a PRN Crisis Therapist, you will provide timely and effective psychiatric evaluations for patients in the Emergency Department (ED), guide appropriate interventions, and ensure safe, therapeutic dispositions. You'll play a critical role in shaping our crisis program while working in close collaboration with psychiatrists, ED staff, and community partners.

  Conduct prompt and thorough psychiatric evaluations for ED patients.

  Collaborate with the behavioral health team to support the development and ongoing improvement of the crisis intervention program.

  
  
• 
  

  Determine and coordinate patient disposition to the least restrictive, most appropriate care setting.

  
  
• 
  

  Communicate clearly and professionally with other crisis team members, both verbally and in writing.

  
  
• 
  

  Accurately document clinical findings and necessary financial data.

  
  
• 
  

  Build and maintain effective working relationships with ED staff and psychiatrists.

  
  
• 
  

  Participate actively in staff meetings and contribute to team-based care.

  
  
• 
  

  Perform additional duties related to the provision of social work services as assigned.

  
  

• 
  

  Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required

  
  
• 
  

  Education in group therapy theory and modalities preferred (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)

  
  

• 
  

  LCSW preferred

  
  
• 
  

  Certification in Addiction Counseling required

  
  

• 
  

  Minimum of one year of experience in mental health care and addiction treatment required

Salary Range: Minimum $1.00/hour - Maximum $1,000.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
