Replenishment Assistant

Title: Replenishment Assistant
Location: Mansfield, Texas

Replenishment Assistant is responsible for purchasing electronic components from vendors in a manner that ensures total quality and effective customer service.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Prepares and enters data for purchase orders.
* Purchases electronic components within established guidelines and processes.
* Professional communication with vendors contacted via phone, mail and/or electronic communications.
* Reviews purchasing reports, analyzes data and develops productive solutions for purchasing matters.
* Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information such as availability and delivery schedule.
* Desire, ability, and personality to deal directly with customers or vendors and represent Mouser Electronics.
* Supports the total quality process and demonstrate a positive attitude toward self and others in a customer service oriented environment.
* Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

* PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with the internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software.
* Able to read and understand terminal screen and printed reports. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Skill evaluation: Math 90%, Spelling 90%, Typing 35 WPM, Microsoft Office 80%.
* Excels in written and oral business communications.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* Minimum four years' post high school experience including minimum one year approved work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
