As a General Laborer in Packing, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and retesting products rejected by the automated vision system, repackaging items that meet our stringent standards, and properly disposing of those that do not. You will work both independently and collaboratively to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment, adhering to all company protocols and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished frozen products rejected by the automated vision system to ensure machine accuracy.
• Sort and dispose of failed products in correctly labeled containers for waste accountability.
• Communicate issues to coworkers or relevant departments (Sanitation, Maintenance, Quality Assurance) using radios or PA systems.
• Report products that do not meet company quality standards to production supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area.
• Follow safe operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform tasks to meet production and efficiency standards.
• Participate in team problem-solving, planning, and decision-making with individual accountability.
• Ensure proper set-up for the next shift and communicate relevant manufacturing process information.
• Train new technicians and assist in other training activities supporting the manufacturing process.
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Previous work history in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English, and use of basic math and time keeping.
