Make an Impact

Fossil Group is looking for a Planner 1 to help manage the Fossil Outlet Stores concept and perform Fossil Brand global assortment planning tasks. This Planner will manage the Stores Open-to-buy and bottom up sku level plans to ensure proper inventory flow to stores.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and Manage the Stores Open-to-buy for responsible categories. Aligning to Sales, Margin, and Inventory Goals.
  • Collaborates with Allocator to ensure inventory flow to stores aligns to Sales and Inventory goals (ST%, WOS, etc).
  • Coordinates withBrand merchants, Store Operations, and Visual Merchandising teams on in-store floorset, promotion, and task execution
  • Run and builds reports to help analyze the business and communicate with cross-functional partners
  • Helps determine pricing and promotions with Brand guardrails for Fossil Outlets to achieve both sales and margin objectives, leverage inventory
  • Help maintain global assortment planning tasks for responsible category (status and end date changes, sku count and sku productivity, etc.) to drive the most productive and profitable assortments
  • Ad hoc special projects as needed

Your Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Retail Merchandising or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in planning or buying
  • Experience in stores planning with watch/jewelry/leather category is a plus
  • Driven and takes initiative
  • Self-managing and proven success in planning, buying or allocation
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Inquisitive and eager to learn
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Enterprise products
  • SAP knowledge preferred
