JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Serves as the leader that directs and develops aspects of the back office operational activities related to credentialing and on boarding of new hires. Works to integrate the operational services with Centerstone's mission to help improve process and performances for the delivery of high-quality services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervisory Responsibilities for: Credentialing Department
  • Oversees Credentialing Department responsibilities. Maintains a working knowledge of payer requirements for credentialing processes. Continues to be apprised of changes as it relates to licensure and payer regulations.
  • Works closely with the Talent and Acquisition team in the hiring process. Coordinates between the Credentialing Committee and TA Department.
  • Provides training and support to credentialing team.
  • Responsible for document management processes within Workday that support onboarding records of licensures, certifications and other required records for credentialing procedures.
  • Communicates regularly with management team regarding processes and procedural issues.
  • Promotes a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other Centerstone departments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA related rules and regulations.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Experience in health care setting with an electronic medical record
  • Limited billing experience is highly preferred
  • Experience and knowledge in credentialing preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Responsiveness to supervisory guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

HS Diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree preferred

Years of Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in health care service
  • One to three years supervisory experience.

$46,000.00--$64,470.00
