Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a food and beverage distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others, demonstrating reliability, and acting with integrity in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $16.46 / Hour

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related incidents, or hazards within the location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on all security-related incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
