As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a leading technology environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. Pay Rate: $23.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
