Location: 11501 Outlook Street - Overland Park, Kansas 66211
- Under the direction of the Portfolio Manager, the person in this position is responsible for supporting Asset Managers in servicing a commercial real estate portfolio in the most timely, efficient and responsible manner in order to protect the interest of investors. This is accomplished within the parameters of the servicing agreements, loan documents, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
- Understanding of the regulations, guidelines and policies that govern the Agencies.
- Use industry guidelines, processes and policies to assist in collecting and analyzing monthly, quarterly and annual operating statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, tax returns and occupancy reports.
- Assist in coordinating and notifying the property of upcoming property inspections. Assist in notifying the property of inspection findings and following up to ensure completion is satisfactory.Assist in conducting physical inspections/assessments on all loans within the assigned portfolio, and report findings accordingly until property inspection certified. Once certified will conduct physical inspections/assessments on loans within the portfolio, and report findings accordingly.
- Generate income through timely collection of reserve administrative fees, late charges and default interest in order to ensure the profitability of the Servicing Division and KeyCorp.
- Assist in monitoring delinquencies.
- Assist in monitoring suspense and misc receivable balances
- Assist in reviewing and processing of reserve disbursements in accordance with the reserve agreements.
- Monitor and oversee the payment of all taxes and insurance as required by the loan documents.
- Monitor loan maturities.
- Assist Asset Managers with risk management assignments for credit committee and investors, including analysis of financial statements and comprehensive loan reviews.
- Input and maintain loan and collateral data in the loan servicing system and RECWeb.
MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS
- Administer borrower inquiries and requests while upholding Key's servicing standard.
- Assist with special projects.
- Four-year college degree or experience commensurate with position grade
- Ability to travel overnight at least once a month for Agency property inspections is required.
- Will also be required to complete Multi-Family property inspection training.
- Good organizational skills. Must be attentive to detail and comfortable with a high level or repetitive tasks.
- Efficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and email software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 1+ year(s) experience in asset management/servicing of complex commercial real estate loans
- Loan document review and interpretation experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical ability
- Experience working with lenders, borrowers, property managers, and legal counselExperience with cash management accounts, escrow/reserve account disbursements, insurance/tax issues, property releases, and loan payoffs
- Experience with McCracken/Strategy and RECWeb loan servicing systems
