Senior Project Manager

Based out of Baton Rouge, this multistate role offers a direct hire opportunity for a motivated construction professional eager to lead and manage challenging civil site work projects across the U.S. Ready to grow and take on new challenges? Position Details:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000/year
• Perks: Travel and gas expenses covered
• Travel Requirement: Extensive. You'll be on the move-whether it's Memphis, Texas, or wherever the next project takes you. Candidates must be open to long-term travel, possibly weeks or months at a time.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and drive civil site work projects from kickoff to closeout
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate with engineers, field crews, and subcontractors
• Lead on-site crews and work closely with Project Superintendents
• Oversee contracts, compliance, and documentation
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety and quality standards
• Serve as the main client point of contact and deliver clear, consistent updates
• Adapt project plans and resolve issues in real time to keep work on track

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in civil construction or a mix of estimating/project management
• Background in heavy civil scopes, deep foundations, or data center work preferred
• Experience in plant environments a plus-especially for those used to structured, compliance-heavy projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills, particularly with site crew management
• Comfortable working closely with Project Superintendents
• Willingness and availability to travel for extended periods as needed
