Overview

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves managing and maintaining enterprise-wide systems, overseeing installations, upgrades, and patches, and proactively addressing potential issues. The Senior Systems Engineer will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the development and implementation of IT solutions.



Responsibilities

    Manage and maintain Azure, O365 and AWS environments
  • Install/maintain/upgrade/patch Windows Server 2016/2022
  • Proactively resolves potential issues on Windows Server
  • Deploy and manage Windows servers running in Azure\AWS.
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve AD, email, O365 and server issues quickly.
  • Strong experience managing Microsoft enterprise products, including O365, Active Directory, Exchange, and
  • other E5 offerings, both on prem and in the Azure Cloud.
  • Create change control processes and documentation for Windows, Azure and AWS solutions.
  • Be the technical authority and mentor junior team members in Azure, Server, Email and cloud administration
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Required)

Experience
* 5+ years years' experience in a Systems Administration role (Required)
* 3+ years Experience in a Systems Administration role with in-depth, hands-on experience in the following areas: Azure, Exchange and all O365 apps, and AWS (Required)
* 3+ years Applicable experience includes, but is not limited to, computer and networking infrastructure, operating systems, application software development, project management, regulatory compliance (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* High level of self-motivation with the ability to work well independently and in a collaborative environment High
* The ability to maintain confidentiality regarding information processed, stored, or accessed by the systems High
* The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to reason analytically is High
* Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in writing technical specifications High
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills High
* Strong team player High
* Ability to work independently and within teams High

Licenses and Certifications
* Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) - (Preferred)
* - Azure (Preferred)
* - AWS (Preferred)
* CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Technician - (Required)
