Hours & Pay

Pay Rate: $65,000/year (Direct Hire)

1st shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting daily HR operations, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. You'll work closely with department leaders and staff across the organization to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. Your expertise will help ensure that HR functions align with the company's mission and growth goals in the high-tech lighting manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities



  • Administer payroll and employee benefits with precision and confidentiality
  • Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, interviews, onboarding, and orientation
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS systems with up-to-date, accurate data
  • Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and compliance matters
  • Manage FMLA, workers' compensation, and other leave programs
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes including terminations and exit interviews
  • Promote workplace safety initiatives and assist with HR-related projects
  • Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and HR policies

What You Bring



  • 2-4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and benefits administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations
