This role is a hybrid position

This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must either (i) live within commuting distance of our Boston, MA office location and should expect to be in office approximately 2 or 3 days per week, or (ii) live in the Massachusetts region and should expect to be in the Boston, MA office location approximately 2 or 3 days per month.

The Product FP&A team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support OPEX planning and reporting and help drive process improvements. In this role, you will serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to functional teams across Product & Global Operations.

Key responsibilities include managing planning and forecasting with business partners, supporting monthly and quarterly close and reporting, overseeing OPEX budgets, and developing financial models.

This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and a thoughtful, proactive approach to projects. What You'll Do

  • Lead the annual planning and monthly forecasting process with business partners; maintain planning calendars and input templates in Anaplan; analyze forecast-to-forecast variances with clear explanations.

  • Collaborate with Accounting during month- and quarter-end close to ensure accurate accruals and analyze results against forecast.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for OPEX variance drivers versus Plan and Forecast; support consolidated OPEX storytelling in partnership with the Core FP&A team.

  • Partner with Finance Systems teams to develop tools and reports that enhance forecast accuracy and insight; support system upgrades and implementations.

  • Identify and lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and transparency in reporting and performance.

  • Support key business partners through ad hoc analysis and project work.

  • Collaborate on long-term financial planning efforts and strategic projections for supported functions.

What You'll Need

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, consulting, or a related field.

  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to work with large data sets and provide actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP accounting principles, accrual accounting, full P&L structure, and budget management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FP&A business partnering in a consumer electronics, retail, or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to synthesize data from multiple sources for forecasting and planning.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex issues and identify solutions.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to stakeholders with varying levels of financial literacy.

  • Experience with Google Workspace and collaborative project tools.

  • Familiarity with Anaplan (or similar cloud-based planning tools), SAP, and visualization or dashboarding platforms (e.g., Tableau, Microstrategy); basic SQL knowledge is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, adapt to change, and maintain a high standard of integrity and accuracy.

The base pay range for this role based off geographic location is:

$86,000 and $107,000

The specific pay offered will depend on the candidate's geographic location, as well as qualifications and experience. We apply geographic pay differentials based on the cost of labor in the market. Employees in high-cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of the range. Your recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
