Staffmark is partnering with one of the region's largest independent welding supply distributors to find a dependable and mechanically inclined individual to join their warehouse team. This dual-role position combines hands-on small engine repair with essential warehouse responsibilities in a supportive, family-owned business.

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

Small Engine Mechanic Duties

• Diagnose and repair small engines (e.g., compressors, generators)
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive servicing
• Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workspace

Warehouse Technician Duties

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Conduct inventory counts and support stock management
• Maintain a clean, safety-conscious warehouse environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in small engine repair and general maintenance
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory processes
• Forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player with a dependable, safety-focused work ethic
• Able to lift 45+ lbs and stand for extended periods
