Overview

The Renewal Billing Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate customer records ensuring that renewal invoices are processed accurately and efficiently and providing exceptional internal and external customer service.

This role will require onsite training and travel to our headquaters bi-annually.



What you will be doing

    Process paid renewal invoices
  • Bill renewal invoices in accordance with company business practices and/or as dictated by contract
  • Ensure accuracy of customer records and pricing per billing audits name change requests contractual agreements and license change requests
  • Process orders in a timely manner to ensure license certificates are delivered to customers; ensure all orders are completed by established deadline
  • Participate in preparation of weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders as directed
  • Use experience and best practice knowledge to provide timely follow-up and resolution to renewal billing inquiries by both internal and external customers
  • Provide timely communication regarding any issues or trends identified to more experienced team members or leadership as needed
  • Assist and support new processes based on an understanding of renewal process of acquired companies; Assist with preparing imports and entering information of acquired companies into appropriate systems
  • Proactively update and recommend changes to assigned procedures documentation to ensure information is current; Accurately document any new procedures
  • Assist with onboarding new department hires
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy


What will make you successful

  • High School Graduate
  • Experience as a Renewal Billing Specialist or Equivalent
  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
  • Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Good organization skills with ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Able to provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
  • Up to 10% travel time required

Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $48,000-$72,000 and eligible for benefits
