Security Officer - Armed Aero

As a Security Officer - Armed Aero in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including the business premises and perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when appropriate during incidents or emergencies.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills relevant to the armed patrol post and the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Level III Armed Security Officer Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Texas Security Professional Armed Guard Card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
