The Opportunity
As the Program Lead for navify Mutation Profiler, you are responsible for facilitating/orchestrating the collaboration across the product and cross functional teams, as well as regions, affiliates and customers. You lead & oversee the overarching delivery success for navify Mutation Profiler, in close collaboration and alignment with FMI, and the Molecular Customer Area; and are responsible in ensuring that the squads are working effectively.

As a Program Lead, you will be a key interface in translating customer and business needs, as well as strategy into clear priorities, working closely with Business Product Managers (BPMs), International Business Leaders (IBLs), functional representatives and the above-mentioned teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive business results and customer value:

  • Address functional needs, e.g. technical, regulatory, business - in alignment withInternational Business Leader (IBL) / Lifecycle Leader (LCL) - and operational Issues.

  • Engage in solutions and/or product collaborations.

  • Accountable for product(s) from development, launch preparation, launch execution, on-market support and obsolescence.

  • Align all development activities (in scope of the predefined goals / solution) inaccordance with cross-functional evaluation and risk assessment.

  • Proactively challenge functions on delivery and alternative courses of action.

  • Advance the work of RIS, making tradeoffs and breaking silos.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams combining operational and strategic issues, in order to ensure that products are developed and commercially available in scope, time and budget.

  • Support the systematic commercial development of the product line (incl. product definition, final scope, positioning & pricing strategy) ensuring the squad has the right focus, objectives and KPIs.

  • Support and facilitate the prioritization of customer requirements across the markets in collaboration with BPMs and Product Owners in line with the RIS, portfolio and product objectives.

  • Lead and support Squad efforts to ensure development efforts on budget/scope/time (responsible for planning costs: prime snapshots, maintenance of Prime planning, underspending/costs).

  • Collaborate with other Project Leaders and Project Teams on total business solutions.

  • Manage relationships and communication with the functions and other LCTs.

  • Accountable for all activities related to development, approval, launch and working closely with the IBL to support commercialization handover to regions/countries.

  • Drive team debate and decision around key issues that determine product quality, functionality or schedule.

  • Break down silos and improve working effectiveness as an 'integrator' across the:

    • organization as needed; in particular through collaboration with other Networks

    • leaders and stakeholders to resolve escalated bottlenecks and dependencies, and,

    • rebalance work & help in line with greater strategic priorities

  • Enable the organization's New Ways of Working

    • Act as role-model for Agile Leadership behaviors and SAFe, as well as for our culture, mindset & behaviors as defined in We@RocheDiagnostics

    • Model behaviors to support the organization's transformation to new, more Agile Ways of Working - e.g. new decision making/governance practices, collaboration, etc.

  • Travel for key business critical initiatives & engagement, while ensuring travel costs and carbon footprint is optimized across the program.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Clinical Science, Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master's degree in Science/Engineering or an MBA is a big plus.

  • Project Management role/Program Lead or Program development background - preferable Digital or Technology space, Business & Financial acumen, and 5-8 years of experience (in regulated industry is a plus).

  • Good understanding of global product management, preferably in distributed and matrixed organizations.

  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate colleagues to make a big impact and deliver their best every day.

  • Clear view on own contribution to the desired outcome (commercial success).

  • Leading by example. Accountability for results. Business orientation and value creation. Organization and planning skills.

  • Facilitation experience across multiple discipline is a must - good Stakeholder Management.

  • Influencing/Persuasion skills. Entrepreneurial spirit/mindset. "Can do" mentality. Customer orientation. Think and act across borders.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, navigate, manage and lead change. Experienced in escalation handling.

  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication and proven ability to foster and build important relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated commercial capabilities either within a Roche affiliate or region or an external organization.

  • A desire and openness to learning and continuous improvement.

  • Commitment to the organization's new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of siloes.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is between $118,700 and $220,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
