Foxhole Technology is seeking a Jr. Network Administrator as part of a team of information assurance professionals in support of a critical Government program.



Job Description

    Must possess the ability to perform all work using an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework for IT activities including IT service management (ITSM) and IT asset management (ITAM) focusing on aligning IT services with the needs of the agency
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the engineering, application, and development of multiple operating systems.
  • Analyze computer software and hardware requirements to provide integration and implementation support through the design and development of new systems at a highly technical level.
  • Ensures that system are functioning according to design specifications.
  • Analyzes and documents users' functional and data requirements.
  • Develop site survey instruments to gather detailed user requirements and business process analysis data.
  • Conducts functional user interviews to document functional, system, customization, and data requirements and data sources.
  • Determine data requirements for internal processes and external interfaces.
  • Develop new systems or tailors commercial products to meet user requirements.
  • Map existing data structures and migrates legacy data to the new or tailored systems.
  • Develop and conducts tests to ensure systems meets documented user requirements. Develops documentation to describe system requirements and use. Provides technical support and diagnoses and resolves system problems. Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications, as assigned.
  • The ITIL framework is a set of best practices for managing IT services and aligning them with business objectives


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for TS
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
  • Must have a current DoD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II approved certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+ CE)
  • Qualified in accordance with DoD Manual 8140.03, "Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program," February 15, 2023
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities with Government and cross-functional teams


Desired Experience/Certifications

  • Network+ Certification highly desirable
