The Manager of Accounting will be a key member of BetMGM's finance team and will be involved in building and maintaining finance processes. In this role, the Manager will work closely with the Assistant Controller and provide accounting support across the payroll and benefits functions of the business. A successful candidate will possess keen attention to detail, strong finance & business acumen and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities
Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation, with a focus on payroll and employee benefits Reconcile and manage related balance sheet and income statement accounts Perform account reconciliations for both U.S. and Canada entities Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and implement process improvements within focus areas Serve as the GL Accounting business partner to the Payroll and Human Resources functions Coordinate with Corporate FP&A on annual forecast and monthly people cost variance analysis Manage accruals & prepayments within the focus areas Communicate effectively with both internal and external parties Provide support for internal and external audit requests Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc requests, as needed
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 10-15+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience General Ledger / Month-end Close experience (Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, etc.) with at least 5 years of payroll and benefits focus Must possess a strong sense of discretion and sound judgement when dealing with confidential and sensitive information Strong Excel Skills Experience using Oracle accounting system is preferred (not required) Experience with Workday and ADP payroll systems is a plus (not required)
The annual salary range for this position is $103,680 to $136,080. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.
Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements
As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
