Overview

As the Operations Supervisor for Strobes-R-Us (A Shyft Brand), you will be accountable for providing direction and coaching to our production team at our new facility in Lebanon, TN.

You will also be instrumental in maintaining efficient, high-quality vehicle upfitting operations while creating a safe and productive workplace.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations team to achieve production targets and deliverables
• Support employee engagement and development
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-level municipal leaders
• Proactively manage and safeguard the company's reputation within these critical partnerships
• Drive accountability for safety, quality, and delivery and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure corporate, departmental, and customer goals are met or exceeded
• Monitor shop-level production task completion with emphasis on timeliness and top-quality craftsmanship
• Supervise quality control for processes and products to meet or exceed customer requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and operations supervisory experience
• Five or more (5+) years of manufacturing operations expertise
• A history of providing effective leadership, mentoring, and supervising a team
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing standards
• Proven track record of improving manufacturing team performance
