We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive our digital personalization initiatives, optimizing customer engagement through tailored digital experiences. This role will focus on delivering impactful personalization strategies aligned with our overall business objectives and emerging market trends, particularly within healthcare contexts. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the digital personalization vision and strategy, developing comprehensive digital roadmaps that align with business objectives, customer needs, and evolving market trends in personalization
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, marketing, sales, data analytics, and customer support teams to deliver intuitive digital experiences that leverage personalization to boost customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty
- Utilize customer insights, behavioral analytics, segmentation data, and market research to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, actionable user stories, and detailed acceptance criteria
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of digital personalization products and features-from ideation, requirements gathering, and user testing through successful launch, measurement, and continuous optimization
- Manage product backlogs and release planning, prioritizing personalization features and enhancements based on data-driven insights, customer feedback, segmentation strategies, and overall strategic business impact
- Act as the primary communication liaison for internal stakeholders and leadership, providing regular, transparent updates on personalization product progress, performance metrics, roadmap adjustments, and strategic direction
- Foster a customer-centric, data-informed culture by integrating user research, usability studies, customer feedback loops, analytics, and testing into product development processes to continuously refine personalized experiences
- Proactively identify potential risks, roadblocks, and dependencies within personalization projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop agile solutions that ensure successful execution and desired business outcomes

- 3+ years of product management experience, demonstrating success in leading digital personalization initiatives or consumer-facing products from concept through successful launch within agile, fast-paced environments
- Deep understanding and practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), managing product backlogs, prioritizing personalization features, and coordinating timely product releases
- Demonstrated expertise managing the full product lifecycle including ideation, roadmap development, market research, segmentation, personalization strategies, and ongoing post-launch optimization
- Proven solid technical aptitude with proven experience partnering closely with engineering and data science teams, translating complex personalization requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable user stories
- Proven excellent communication and leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively influence and align cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership around personalization strategies and initiatives
- Proven strategic and creative mindset with experience in combining market analysis, competitive research, and customer insights to identify meaningful opportunities in digital personalization
- Proven ability to thrive within dynamic, collaborative environments by proactively addressing challenges and driving alignment across diverse teams to deliver exceptional personalized customer experiences and measurable business results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing digital personalization strategies within the healthcare industry, particularly involving clinical personalization to enhance patient engagement, satisfaction, and health outcomes
- Familiarity with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and optimization techniques in clinical or healthcare
- Proficiency with Adobe personalization tools (e.g., Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Cloud) or other leading personalization platforms, enabling the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of tailored user experiences.
- Proven solid analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with expertise interpreting complex healthcare data, conducting customer segmentation, and leveraging insights for targeted, compliant, and impactful marketing initiatives.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
