Indirect Procurement Specialist: Professional Services / Human Resources

About the Role: We are looking for an Indirect procurement Professional Services / Human Resource (PS/HR) Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work with the global PS/HE category team to source services, select suppliers, conduct pricing and contract term negotiations, assess supplier risk, and participate in Supplier Performance Management. This role partners with internal clients to access and meet their external supplier service needs.

This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute negotiations in alignment with category sourcing strategies under direction of Category Lead or Category Managers as needed for new and existing suppliers
  • Participate in development and execution of category sourcing strategies by collaborating with Category Lead in alignment with Operating Company and Enterprise goals
  • Manage Key stakeholder relationships while ensuring business requirement are met
  • Utilize available market intelligence information to identify opportunities and guide category procurement activities
  • Leverage Procurement Operation team outputs and deliverables in direct application toward category strategies: Spend Analytics, Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Performance and Risk Management, Procurement Policy Development/Governance
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Operations team and Indirect Procurement associates across all Operating Companies and Specialty Groups

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years Procurement Experience or relevant work experience
  • Experience in participating or executing supplier negotiations
  • Knowledge of monitoring supplier-based performance
  • Knowledge in conducting supplier risk assessments
  • Knowledge of or experience in operational procurement transaction in an ERP system
  • Knowledge of or experience in executing category strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to enable Change with a Growth mindset toward Industry Standard practices
  • Ability to travel up to 10%



Desired Qualifications:



  • CPSM, CPM, SPSM or similar certification
  • Previous Professional Services and / or Human Resource Indirect Procurement experience preferred
