Our growing company is in need of a Quote Resource Specialist. The Quote Resource Specialist is accountable for providing excellent service in support of branch and corporate quotation activities to customers.

Our Quote Resource Specialists:



  • Assist in the TTI Quoting process by setting up the original customers' request, download/upload customer files from 3rd party sites, and effectively submitting them into the IQS application and coordinating its completion with the TTI sales force.
  • Prepares IQ files for quoting in an accurate and timely manner by identifying the TTI parts that match the customer's part "callouts", instructions from the salesperson, and preferred-part guidelines from the corporate product department.
  • Manage retrieval of customer files and upload of quoted data into customer portals. Provides support in quote submission for TTI sales force.
  • Updates IQ files with costs and other part data on non-inventory parts by utilizing our Manufacturer's systems, price lists, and other sources.
  • Maintain the TTI Quoting Database by identifying and correcting unresolved part numbers for future quotes.
  • Assist the field with the IQS application, Excel Functions, and Macros.
  • Qualify and respond to special requests from internal customers in a timely manner.


Education and Experience Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • At least one year of work experience, preferably in the electronics industry supporting the parts quoting process, and working in detail with Excel Spreadsheets.


What we look for:



  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required. General knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications and other databases is a plus.
  • General knowledge of various web browsers functionality.
  • Capable of learning and retaining working knowledge of the products we sell, their key parameters, and our suppliers' part-numbering schemes, and to relate descriptions to part numbers.
  • Strong alpha/numeric data entry skills with good quality.
  • Possess strong attention to detail skills.
  • Strong teamwork orientation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibits a strong customer service orientation with a strong sense of urgency to responding to internal and external customer needs.
  • Must be able to work under broadly defined policies and achieve stated goals.
  • TTI system experience a plus.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
