Position Title: Floater Wage: $18.00 - $19.00/Hour Shifts: 1st Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday The Floater is the ultimate utility player-versatile, reliable, and always ready to step in where needed. With hands-on involvement across multiple departments, this role keeps operations running smoothly by filling gaps, boosting productivity during peak times, and maintaining top-notch quality and safety standards. Whether it's production, packaging, shipping, or outdoor work, the Floater brings flexibility, adaptability, and a can-do attitude to every shift. Floater Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of tasks across different departments, including production, packaging, assembly, shipping, and Outside Duties - Provide support during peak production times or staff absences - Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently, as trained - Assist with loading/unloading materials and products - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and company policies - Complete quality checks and ensure proper documentation of work completed - Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to understand daily priorities - Help with inventory counts, product staging, or line changeovers as needed - Be adaptable and ready to learn new tasks quickly across departments Requirements for Floater: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing work areas and tasks - Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn equipment operation - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented - Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
