Systems Integration Analyst Department: Technology & Innovation (T&I) Are you someone who enjoys connecting systems, solving technical puzzles, and making things run smoothly behind the scenes? Whether you're an early-career technologist eager to get started, an experienced systems analyst looking for your next challenge, or a developer who thrives on building automation, Davidson T&I's Data Management team could be a great fit for you. Note: An Associate version of this position is also available for early-career IT professionals. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented problem solver to join our team as a Systems Integration Analyst. Our Data Management team is like the post office of data for Davidson College. We ensure that data flows from system to system securely and safely. Sometimes we work with our colleagues on how to package and distribute the data-how to transform it so systems can stay in sync. At times, we offer guidance on how to manage, analyze, or work with data. Ultimately, our goal is to make sure data runs smoothly, keeping all systems in sync and empowering users to make data-driven decisions with unique reports and data synthesis. As a Systems Integration Analyst, you'll help build and maintain the connections that keep Davidson's data flowing. You'll work with a variety of integration techniques-from scheduled batch processes to real-time APIs-and help ensure downstream systems get the data they need. You'll also contribute to data-driven account lifecycle automation, helping to manage how digital identities are created and maintained across platforms. You'll also have the opportunity to build and maintain custom web apps using our low-code platform that support administrative and academic operations. And if you're someone who gets satisfaction from writing scripts to automate repetitive tasks, this role offers plenty of chances to streamline processes and make your colleagues' lives easier. Who are you? You're someone who sees the big picture while paying attention to the little things. You've got a knack for figuring out how systems talk to each other, and you enjoy making those conversations happen more smoothly. Maybe you've worked with APIs, written automation scripts, or designed web-based tools. Maybe you've maintained ETL pipelines or worked with identity management workflows. What matters most is your curiosity, your drive to understand how things work, and your desire to help make systems more efficient and data more accessible. You like collaborating with others, asking the right questions, and finding creative solutions. When a colleague explains a challenge, you listen carefully-and then you start mapping out how to fix it. We don't expect you to have experience with all of our platforms or possess every skill on day one. Davidson T&I is committed to investing in your growth. We'll provide training, mentorship, and opportunities to develop expertise in the platforms and tools we use. What's more important is your ability to think systematically, learn quickly, and collaborate with others to move projects forward. We'll invest in your growth with mentoring, training, and real-world projects to help you deepen your expertise over time. What's ahead for the Data Management Team Our data landscape is evolving. As Davidson adopts new enterprise platforms and expands cloud infrastructure, the way our systems connect is changing rapidly. The Data Management team is central to this transformation, helping to build and maintain the integrations and processes that support a smarter, more agile institution. We expect to learn and grow together through this transformation. This is an ideal opportunity to join a team that values collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement. You'll have a front-row seat-and a voice at the table-as we modernize our data ecosystem and build the infrastructure needed to support the next generation of data-informed decisions. Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging The Davidson College T&I leadership team is committed to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. In practice, that means doing our part to hire, grow, retain, and reward great employees with a wide range of experiences, perspectives, identities, abilities, and ways of thinking.
