Job Summary We are looking for a Tax Analyst to join our rapidly growing company. This position is a great opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career and expand their skillset within a Fortune 500 corporation with a wide array of interesting and complex tax issues. This position would involve working in a team environment within UFP's tax department, as well as interacting with various members of other departments and plants. UFP's tax department is focused on embracing technology and innovation to drive efficiencies; this position will have the opportunity to learn and work with innovative platforms and programs. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state income tax returns. Prepare various tax accounting schedules and reconciliations that support the federal and state tax returns. Assist in the preparation of quarterly federal and state income tax estimated payments. Prepare workpapers contributing to the quarterly income tax provision. Work closely with the Accounting Department and various UFP plants and business units to ensure proper compliance with sales and use tax issues. Prepare personal property tax returns and manage the property tax accrual for plants throughout the year. Research fundamental tax issues pertaining to property, sales & use, state and local income, and federal income tax. Assist as part of a tax team representing various UFP entities in property, sales & use tax, and corporate income tax audits. Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook are required). 1-4 years tax experience; corporate tax or public accounting experience preferred.

Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail. Ability to pass a drug test. Ability to work hours mandated by management. Minimum 45-hour work week.
