This is an on-site hybrid role based out of either Rosemont, IL or Milwaukee, WI. Reporting to the Senior Director, Category Management, this role will be a critical leader responsible for the implementation of sourcing strategies across all Regal Rexnord segments. This position will lead multiple projects across the Regal Rexnord enterprise that vary in complexity and will oversee the work related to all functions over the duration of the project. While the focus will be on direct procurement categories, projects may also include supply chain and operations optimization, and procurement synergy.
- Leverage a high level of project management skills related to supply chain projects, new product development, outsourcing activities, VA/VE, and risk mitigation.
- Act as liaison between Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other functions for the Supply Chain team on assigned projects, ensuring project objectives are communicated and executed.
- Establish robust communication strategies to report on program status, communicate critical issues to external and internal customers, offer solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Responsible for assembling project teams globally, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Work with direct category managers to identify the project scope, objectives, timeline, and escalation criteria.
- Identify changes to the project scope, balance project constraints and communicate to leadership the impact to budget and schedule.
- Represent the project team at project meetings and executive report outs, responding to questions, identifying action items and following up as needed.
- Prepare detailed project plans using visual management to track status, action plans, estimates, schedules and forecasts, responsibilities, and risks.
- Demonstrate managerial courage and leadership to escalate program challenges promptly and find solutions with key stakeholders.
- BA or BS degree required, preferably in Supply Chain/Operations management.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven, progressive supply chain, sourcing, and project management experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence to drive measurable results.
- Demonstrated experience with large scale project management across multiple functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate through manufacturing processes and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and convert data into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of lean tools and mindset to drive for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, conceptually, and analytically to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, SAP or other ERP system
- Demonstrated history of building and leveraging relationships in a matrixed and complex organization.
Travel: Up to 20% Language: English Compensation Details: $125,000K - $145,000K The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation forall statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors,including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience,education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
