Overview: As a Principal Consultant within the Delay and Damages group, you will focus on Forensic Delay Analysis and work Subcontractor Default, Surety, Professional Liability, Builders Risk, Delay-In-Startup, Forensic Delay Analysis, Loss of Productivity and other Complex Construction Claims and Disputes. Responsibilities will include performing various methods of Forensic Delay Analysis on construction projects and various cost and quantum related analysis on construction claims and disputes for insurance carriers, law firms, owners, developers, and contractors around the world. The expectations: Physical Demands : Work will be performed both in an office setting and at outside locations (i.e., Client's office, industrial, construction, and/or residential sites). Employee is frequently required to stand, sit, climb ladders, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and drive a motor vehicle to job sites. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of equipment. Employee must be attentive, focused, and alert when conducting site inspections, speaking, and interacting with clients, preparing drawings and written reports. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary. Overtime - This position is classified as salaried with an exempt FLSA status. Regular working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch. There will be periods where overtime will be required, which the employee will need to comply with to meet the demands of the position. Travel Requirements - This position requires up to 25% travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required. The Salary Range for this position is $149,600 - $224,400 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
